We
really enjoyed being tourists for an hour on a Seine river cruise.
It was a quick audio-guided tour of Paris which gave us a good "lay
of the land’. Some Paris sites are best understood in a boat,
like the Ile de la cite and Ile St. Louis. |

There
is a reason why the Eiffel Tower has such staying power! The wait
was long and the weather blustery, but the pain au chocolates in
the cafe were hot and the views were magnifique! We only went to
the 2nd stage because our vertigo was setting in and the view gets
smaller, not necessarily better. |
